Bradfield College Showjumping Competition

On Sunday, the senior riding (Daisy, Rosie and Tallulah) team travelled up to Merristwood near Guildford to compete at a schools showjumping competition hosted by Bradfield College.

In the 70cm class they came 3rd as a team with Daisy coming 4th individual and Tallulah 6th. In the 80cm, Daisy was placed 5th as an individual.

High spirits, companionship and politeness were the order of the day: which was in fact noted by a Bradfield Parent who was so impressed, they were going to tell their Headmaster all about Brambletye's lovely children!

Equestrian Success

A 3rd and 4th for our team in the arena eventing last weekend, qualifying for the arena eventing championships in two weeks time and for the Sunshine Tour championships at Hickstead in September. Both girls are putting a lot of effort into their riding and the result is well deserved. Most entries were adults and it was a very technical course. 

Japanese Sunday with the Boarders

Sunday took on a Japanese theme and the children enjoyed making sushi with a visiting Sushi chef. Powered by seaweed and fish, they climbed into superhero sumo suits and enjoyed wrestling with their friends and making paper sculptures.

Sussex Fencing Champions

Brambletye hosted the Sussex County Championships yesterday.
The competition was intense with girls and boys from all over the county competing. Brambletye were very successful coming 1st and 3rd in the U14 Girls and 1st in the U12 Girls: so we have two Sussex Champions!
